The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies develops students who want to develop the knowledge, skills, and values required to become responsible and visionary leaders in a wide range of settings.  Many graduates of the program choose to enter a career in the public sector or in nonprofit agencies, others make contributions to their community, state, and nation as active citizens in the civic and public arenas.

Master of Public Policy,  Georgia State University

January 2012 - May 2014

The Master of Public Policy (MPP) is an interdisciplinary degree program designed to prepare students for work in the analysis, development, and evaluation of public policies.  In all levels of government and on a global scale, public needs and limited resources require public policy choices that are at once economically efficient, socially and technically effective, and politically responsive. Such choices confront policymakers in a broad range of critical issues, including health, education, economic development, public finance, social policy, nonprofit policy, and disaster policy.

Founder, Save the Coast or GTFO

Save the Coast or GTFO is dedicated to raising awareness throughout the Mississippi Delta regarding coastal erosion in Louisiana. Our annual bicycle ride along the Natchez Trail educates and illustrates our regional, national and international need to sustain the Lousiana coast for all life and economies. All donations received through our annual fundraising efforts are directly distributed to efforts in Baton Rouge to assist with environmental legislation associated with the Mississippi Delta and diminishing Lousiana coast. Through our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs and efforts.
